Message from a Mum
I had to return to work when my first daugther was 4 mths old. My body ached from the anxiety of separation and I constantly pined for her. To make it worse the train commute was 1.5 hrs each way. I attended baby massage classes with Glenda Chapman and I was so thankful for the skills she shared. The moment I'd arrive home in the evening I'd re-connect and bond with my daugter by giving her a massage. This eased the anxiety for both of us. Almost ten years on and she now gives me massages which is fabulous. My second daughter also has benefited and has learnt great foot massage techniques passed on to her from her big sister.
V. Steer, Green Point (NSW) mum of two, still working and forever greatful for the parenting, bonding and communication skills I've learnt through infant massage.
